4 Situato in una delle zone iconiche del centro milanese, la nota showroom Sicis in Via Fatebenefratelli 8 è stata rinnovata per dare spazio alle nuove creazioni della Maison. L’area occupa una superficie di circa 700 metri quadrati distribuiti su tre livelli, dove sono esposti come in una vera e propria galleria d’arte pannelli in mosaico artistico, opere d’arte, collezioni di mobili intarsiati, fino agli elementi di arredo quali maniglie, porte e lampade. Un percorso dei sensi dove la materia, la tecnica, la maestria degli artisti e dei maestri mosaicisti prendono forma. L’insieme viene completato da una serie di pannelli in mosaico artistico con l’impiego di materiali quali il cavallino e il legno, oltre ai metalli quali oro e platino, che vanno al di là della superficie, lavorando sulla tridimensionalità. Possiamo ammirare anche la collezione “Gold” interamente in mosaico “foglia d’oro”, che adorna alcune pareti. Questa installazione vuole comunicare le qualità aziendali: l’originalità estetica, la creatività, l’autenticità ed unicità, oltre alla innovazione tecnica. Da sempre l’azienda ha esplorato l’arte del mosaico, valorizzandone la flessibilità ed il trasformismo dei suoi impieghi, diventando la creatrice di arte musiva contemporanea più importante al mondo, applicandola a più settori, ed ora più che mai le showroom Sicis nel mondo rappresentano una piacevole esperienza per far comprendere la realtà complessa che racchiude questo intero universo; “Il mosaico” reinventato ed esaltato da Sicis. Il mosaico è inteso come linguaggio multiforme, interprete di tradizioni, mode e tendenze. Located in one of the most iconic Milanese district, the well-known Sicis showroom in Via Fatebenefratelli 8 has been renovated to make room for new creations of the Maison. The area occupies an area of about 700 square meters on three levels, where artistic mosaic panels, works of art, magnificent collections furniture including door pulls, doors, lamps are exposed as in a real art gallery. A sense’s journey where the matter, the technique, the skills of the artists and mosaic masters take place. Everything is completed by a series of mosaic panels with the artistic use of materials such as the leather and wood, in addition to metals such as gold and platinum, which go beyond the flat surface, working on three-dimensionality. We can also see the collection “Gold” entirely in mosaic “gold leaf”, which adorns some walls. This installation wants to communicate the company’s quality: the aesthetic originality, creativity, authenticity and uniqueness, in addition to the technical innovation.
